Tomorrow is that time of year again – the CF Climb at Coors Field! This will be the 15th year of this event.

Many of you know my close friend, Pat Jacques - we’ve been close friends since college. Pat and his wife, Nicole, have 3 kids, and their oldest, Kennedy, has been friends with my daughter Isabella for their entire lives.

Kennedy turns 20 this August. She’s incredibly bright, articulate, active, and an inspiration to everyone who knows her. If you haven’t seen her story, watch the video.

When Kennedy was born, doctors gave her a life expectancy of just 28 years because of CF. Thanks to decades of research—much of it funded through private donations—that expectancy has increased dramatically. That’s an incredible achievement, but CF remains a devastating disease.

The encouraging news is that potential cures are now in the research pipeline. The challenge is funding them.

Tomorrow I’ll be climbing the stairs at Coors Field for the CF Climb for Life in honor of Kennedy. My goal is to raise $2,000 in the next 24 hours, and I’d appreciate your support. Even better, come join for an intense workout!
