Thalía Castillo
Hi!! Welcome to my Page 💜🤍
My name is Thalia Castillo, I’m from Pasadena, Ca. I’m a mom of two Amorá and Camilo. Amorá is 4yrs old and was diagnosed with CF at one month old, she has two rare mutations. She is currently not on a modulator.
I may be biased but she is the coolest kid on earth. You’ll know instantly as soon as you meet her, how truly special she is. One of the most bravest/resilient little girl ever, I’m so lucky to be her mom! The moment she was diagnosed, was definitely one of the hardest experience of my life. I wasn’t really sure how to process what her future would look like let alone that single moment in time. With each day she amazed me with her strength (she still does).. her fight is my fight until the end of time! I will fight to find a cure for her and everyone who lives with CF, it’s not over until it’s we find our CURE.
ALSO, did I mention this is my first marathon!!! I’ve been wanting to do a marathon for quite some time now and I was waiting for the right marathon to sign up to. And long behold to be able to run for CF, there was no question. It was a must in my book. Thank you so much for your help and support, this means everything to me and our family. 🙏💜 know every share, every donation you make. You are bringing awareness and helping us get closer to a cure.
There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis and too many people with CF die young. I’m running to help change that reality.
CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
Every person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently. While progress has been made, a long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this terrible disease. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.
Will you help us end cystic fibrosis?
By donating to my fundraising goal, you have the power to advance the research and science needed to drive our shared dream forward – a cure for everyone with CF.
