Every day, my husband fights a battle most of us could never imagine. He is a warrior—a man of unparalleled courage who has faced cystic fibrosis head-on since birth. Recently, he was given the incredible gift of a double lung transplant, a second chance at life. While the road to recovery is long, he faces it with the same strength and determination that have always defined him. Our two-year-old son is blessed to grow up with a father who teaches him, every single day, what true bravery looks like. Through every struggle and every triumph, I will always be his advocate, his rock, and his biggest cheerleader.
I’m running this half marathon not just for him, but for everyone fighting CF. Every step I take is for the warriors, the families, and the hope for a future without cystic fibrosis. Please join me in this journey—every donation brings us closer to that dream.
