It's me again!
You have helped so much over so many years,; and I come asking for your help once more.
There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis. I’m walking & forever fighting to help change this reality. Progress is occurring at a faster pace than ever before! And I am asking YOU to be a part of our team, pushing us closer to that END - the End of Cystic Fibrosis.
Starting this month with Valentine's Day, will you open your hearts again for those living with this genetic, life-threatening disease-CF, which devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs and makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections?
There are over 2,000 gene mutations that can cause CF. Every person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently.
Recently, a new modulator (medicine) was FDA approved. This new CF modulator, Alyftrek, is approved for people ages 6 and older who have a mutation that is eligible for Trikafta or one of 31 rare mutations that have not been approved previously for a modulator.
We need a CURE so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.
