My name is Hugo and I have cystic fibrosis. I take multiple medications and do shaker vest therapy twice daily. Sometimes it’s hard to breathe when I’m feeling sick. And just to make my journey more difficult (and to make me more unique!) I have Type 1 diabetes. So my day is full of challenges, but despite all of that, I’m a happy, energetic and fun-loving toddler! Help me and others like me to find a cure for cystic fibrosis and support the community!

There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis and too many people with CF die young. I’m walking to help change that reality.
CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
Every person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently. While progress has been made, a long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this terrible disease. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.

Just chilling in the hotel!
Was a little skeptical of the playground bridge, but eventually loved it!
I just got back from Spring Break vacation not too long ago! I had a lot of fun running around at the Kansas City Zoo and Legoland! I was even able to do my CPT right in the hotel room. I didn’t get to swim in the pool as much as I would have liked, but I did get to run down the hotel halls every day! Not a bad little getaway!
