Hi friends & family,

My name is Joey, and this will be my second year walking in the Great Strides for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. 💜

Last year was extra special because I had just learned to walk only a few weeks before Great Strides! I may have been little, but with the help of so many amazing people supporting me, I raised over $2,000 in memory of my Aunt Kayla.

I never got the chance to meet Aunt Kayla because she passed away 15 years ago, long before I was born. But I’ve grown up hearing stories about how kind, strong, funny, and loved she was. Even though we never met, I’m proud to walk in her honor and carry on her memory.

This year, I’m a little bigger, a little faster, and ready to take on even more steps — and hopefully raise even more money to help families impacted by cystic fibrosis.

We walk because cystic fibrosis took someone our family loved deeply, and we want to help create a future where no family has to experience that same loss.
