We Fight for a Cure as the fight is not complete until a Cure is Found!
My company, AXIA Consulting, which was recently acquired by Huron Consulting, has been a sponsor of the Hike for 12 years. This is our 11th year as Hikers. I am proud to say that Huron is continuing our sponsorship and is a Presenting Sponsor for this year's Gateway Chapter Xtreme Hike.
Isabelle and the Trokey's are close friends. Isabelle is a victim of CF who, like others, has been benefitting tremendously from the advances in medications made only possible due to fundraising efforts like the Xtreme Hike.
Through our involvement, we have learned so much about this horrible disease and gotten to know many victims and their families. On a tragic note, we have seen the impacts of the disease. However, from a positive perspective, we have seen the results of the advances in treatments, medications, and research made only possible through the grass roots fundraising and awareness via events like Xtreme Hike.
By donating to my fundraising goal, you can be assured your donations will go directly to funding ongoing research which has allowed Isabelle to stay out of the hospital for the past 10+ years. The efforts are working and, with your help, I am confident a Cure will be Found in our lifetimes for CFF. The CFF is a winning organization...support a winner!
