There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis, and too many people with CF die young. I’m hiking to help change that reality. In May of 2022, my uncle, Chris Brennan, tragically lost his life. When finding a way to honor him and his legacy, joining the Xtreme Hike was a no-brainer! This is my 3rd year participating, and each year this hike and community mean more and more to me. I will be hiking this year with my aunt and my sister, and I hope you will support me and this cause!
In the recent years we have made great strides in the right direction. The direction of a cure! However, not everyone can take these new medications and there is still work to be done. My Uncle joined the hike in 2013 and completed 9 hikes working to find a cure. Now, my aunt, sister, and I continue his legacy as I will complete my 3rd hike in hopes to find a cure that is accessible for all!!
