Granddaughter Sarah is now 16 years old!  She is in 11th grade at UNI (University Laboratory High School) in Urbana IL.  She is in the Drama Club, went to her first Prom and earned her second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Drew and I will be walking on Saturday, May 30th at the Town Hall, Glastonbury(2155 Main Street.), at 10:00 a.m. to support research for her cystic fibrosis disease. We are happy to share that Sarah will bewailing with us this year as she and her mom are looking at local colleges.

Team Strolling for Sarah’s annual walk is about 3 miles or one hour. We walk to support the Great Strides program which raises research dollars for this genetic disease which affects the lungs and digestive system. The new drug Trikafta, created by the Vertex Pharmaceuticals with financial support from the CF Foundation, treats some of the causes for her illness and not just the symptoms. The median age expectancy for a person with CF is now 65. Ten years ago it was 38! Research is so important.

If you cannot walk with us we hope you will support us by donating to Team Strolling for Sarah.   Please help support Cystic Fibrosis research. Make your check payable to:
