It's hard to believe we will be participating in our 27th Great Strides walk to help find a cure for Collin and those living with cystic fibrosis. 

While we have not found a cure yet, the CF Foundation has funded amazing research that has improved his quality of life greatly and has added years to his life. 

For those of you that may not know, CF is a life-threatening genetic condition. There was a time when children born with CF did not live long enough to attend school. While we are not facing that same fear now, it is still a very complex disease that presents the same dangers should anyone lose access to all the new medications that have been developed over the years

While we are so grateful for all to the advances, we know that not all those with CF have these new therapies available to them, there is still a lot of work that happens behind the scenes to stay healthy. 

Every person with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experience this challenging disease differently. While so much progress has been made, a long road lies ahead for far too many people with this terrible disease. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life. 

Please open your hearts as many of you do year after year and help us end cystic fibrosis.
