Every Mile for Henry. Every Step Toward a Cure.

Dear Family and Friends,

On October 3, 2026, I will be taking on one of the most challenging hikes in America—the Grand Canyon Rim-to-Rim Extreme Hike. This 24+ mile journey isn’t just a personal challenge. Every step I take is dedicated to my grandson, Henry, and to every child and adult living with cystic fibrosis (CF).

Like many families affected by CF, we’ve witnessed both the incredible advances in treatment and the daily challenges that still exist. Although remarkable progress has been made over the past decade, there is still no cure. That’s why I’m committed to helping the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation continue funding groundbreaking research, improving treatments, and moving us closer to a world where CF no longer limits or shortens lives.

This hike will push me physically and mentally, but it is nothing compared to the strength and resilience shown every day by those living with cystic fibrosis.
