When our daughter Pia was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at just 9 days old, our world changed forever. That day, Pia Posse was born—a community of love, strength, and determination dedicated to fighting for a future free from CF.

Cystic fibrosis is a genetic, life-shortening disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. It makes it hard to breathe and even harder to fight off infections. But while CF brings many challenges, it has also brought out the incredible resilience of those who live with it—and the unwavering support of those who stand beside them.

Every person with CF walks a unique path, and we’ve come a long way thanks to groundbreaking research, tireless advocates, and generous donors. But we’re not done yet. Too many lives are still cut short. We’re walking to change that.
