All the research that has been done over the last 23 plus years since my niece Natalie was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis and when I got involved, the CF Foundation has done some absolutely amazing things! Natalie has benefitted from all of this research. While she still needs to take tons of pills, she is doing great....graduated from high school, got accepted and graduated from college, got a job, bought a car, went to Italy last summer.
Her life's journey continues but having a cure for CF will ensure all her dreams will come true. This is the ultimate goal. And this requires more research which is very expensive.
The CF Foundation is involved in key critical leading edge science. This includes gene editing therapy, gene therapy, and RNA therapy. Each of these focused approaches come with their own challenges. The Foundation knows this type of science matters. And there is great progress being made.
Yes, this is where I ask you to contribute to this great cause to find a cure.
