I love volunteering for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) with my family. Even though no one in my family has cystic fibrosis (CF), we’ve met so many amazing people who do. Over the past few years, I’ve gotten to know some incredible CF Fighters, and their strength and positivity inspire me. That’s why I’m passionate about supporting the CF Foundation and helping find a cure for this disease.
 

One of my favorite things is walking and volunteering at the Inland Empire Great Strides walk. The park is beautiful, the people there are so nice, and the energy is amazing. It’s such a fun and positive experience, and I love knowing that I’m doing something that can help others.

Right now, there’s no cure for CF, and too many people with it don’t live as long as they should. I’m walking and volunteering to help change that.

If you don’t know much about cystic fibrosis, it’s a genetic disease that makes it super hard to breathe and fight infections. It affects the lungs, pancreas, and other important organs, and it can lead to serious lung damage. Every person with CF is affected differently, but for all of them, it’s a huge challenge.

Even though scientists have made a lot of progress, we’re still not where we need to be. There are so many people out there who are fighting this disease every single day, and they deserve to have the chance to live long, healthy lives.
