Hi there – I’m so glad you found my page!
Our team from the Optimist Club of Los Angeles walks with one goal in mind: a future where every person with cystic fibrosis can live a long, healthy life. This mission is personal to me—I’ve lost close friends to CF, and I walk for them, and for everyone still fighting.
We’re proud to be the oldest Optimist Club in the Pacific Southeast District, founded in 1917. Through it all, we’ve stayed rooted in hope, service, and our belief in brighter days ahead.
That’s why we CHOOSE OPTIMISM—and we invite you to do the same by supporting our club at the Great Strides Inland Empire walk on June 14th.
CF research has made incredible progress, but many people still face major obstacles. Some don’t benefit from current therapies, and others live with complications that interrupt daily life and threaten their futures. We walk to change that.
As our Optimist Creed says, we “promise to talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person we meet.” We hope you’ll join us in lifting up the CF community. Together, we can make CF stand for Cure Found.
