Every person living with Cystic Fibrosis has a story as unique as they are; Owen is no exception. But unique as they are, they all have one thing in common - a life shortening disease that currently has no cure. While advancements in Owen's young 18 years have been outstanding people are still dying way too young.
Owen is doing extremely well thanks to the advances made in treatments and therapies developed/funded by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. He will be graduating for high school at the end of May! He is currently learning to weld and hopes to pursue this as a career. He stays busy with soccer, lacrosse, and video games. :)
As we have for the past 17 years, our family is committed to walking at Great Strides Lancaster to raise funds and awareness for CF. As of today, our team total is $317,150!! This year will be a little different as we have Tyler's graduation that weekend so we won't be at the walk. BUT we still hope to raise some funds for this very important cause.
