Fundraising for Cleveland/Bradley County Great Strides 2026
Vanessa Hammond
We invite you to take part in Great Strides by joining our team or donating to support the cause! This team welcomes all Hammond family and friends who are walking this CF journey with Will Hammond. This event promises to be a fun-filled day where you can help advance the care and research needed to cure cystic fibrosis. By walking with us or donating, you’ll help make an important impact for Will and all people who have cystic fibrosis.
Will is a thriving 28-year-old who makes incredible video content for a living! He is engaged to Annelise, and they are excited to plan their future together. Praise the Lord for His goodness and the advancements in CF care that have made Will's health and long-term outlook possible!
While the CF Foundation has made incredible progress, not everyone with CF can benefit from existing therapies and we still need a cure. The burden of care for people like Will is also something we hope will continue to be reduced by new therapies. This will require time, funding, and persistence – but with you on our team – we are ready to do what it takes.
Our team is committed to providing every person with CF the opportunity to live a long, healthy life. Will you join us on this final walk and 65 Roses 5K race hosted by Lee University? Since 2001, Lee and many champions for the CF Foundation who work at the university have committed their energy to this event. Our family can never thank them and the friends who donate to the cause enough for making such a difference in Will's life and the lives of precious CF fighters we know here in Cleveland. Thank you for being part of the cure!!
