We walk for those who didn’t get the opportunities for the advancement in CF treatment. We walk for those who may not be able to participate in the simple things, such as this walk. We walk with those who are living proof of the will to live, and medical advancements. We walk to honor.
I walk in honor of Kaja O’Leary (passed 2014) who took her diagnoses with grace and honor, used it as an opportunity to teach and advocate- and touch so many lives even after her passing.
we take a simple breath for granted, and we walk to show others they aren’t alone in their daily lives.
