I'll start by introducing my self, I am a 32 year old Male living with CF. In previous years I was involved in CF fundraisers and participated in several CF events throughout my young adult/teenage life. As I got older, my health started declining and I was forced to take a step back from it to focus on my self more. Today, thanks to gene modulators such as trikafta and alyftrek my life has turned around completely. I am now married to my wife Alexis and we are expecting our first child in August. My health has improved significantly and I am living a pretty normal life and looking forward to many more years with my friends and family. I am ready to get back in to fundraising and events because I realize that they are exactly what helped turn my life around. Without the donations that people selflessly give, I as well as many other people living with CF, wouldn't be where we are today. I believe I speak for all of us in the CF community when I say we are extremely thankful for any and every donation that we can get for the CF foundation because it truly helps us continue to live better lives.
