In honor of Cheznie, who lives with cystic fibrosis (CF) our family fundraises for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation through Great Strides.

We invite you to take part in Great Strides by joining our team. It's a day to acknowledge Cheznie's journey with CF this far, a day to recognize her strength and to think about what it means to live with a life-threatening chronic illness.

While the CF Foundation has made progress, a long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this terrible disease. Rare mutations exist and new mutations are still being discovered. Unfortunately, not everyone can benefit from existing therapies. We need more treatment options but most importantly we need a cure. This will require time, funding and persistence but with you on our team we are ready to go the distance.

This is an event where you can help advance awareness, the care and research needed to find a cure for cystic fibrosis. Whether you are able to walk with us or donate to the CF Foundation we could never put into words how appreciative we are of the kindness shown towards our daughter. Everyday we are waiting to hear the words "We have a cure". Until then we remain hopeful that Cheznie has a long, healthy and happy life ahead of her. Our team is committed to providing every person with CF that chance. Being involved in events like this can help to make that more possible.
