Meg Boyd

Hello! And thank you for your interest in my fundraising for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

My name is Meg Boyd and I am running the Marine Corps marathon on October 26th, 2025. While do not have CF, I do have someone very dear to my family who does. His name is Emmett and he is 9 years old. CF is a genetic disease that damages the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to lung damage and respiratory compromise. New therapies and recent advancements in CF management have allowed Emmett to grow, thrive, root for the Miami Dolphins, and enjoy playing travel baseball with friends! While there are treatments to manage the symptoms of CF, there is yet to be a cure. By donating to my fundraising goal, you can help advance research of treatments and one day find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.

When given the opportunity to run for a cause, I knew I would like to run for Emmett and all of those with CF. It’s been a long-time dream of mine to run a marathon, and it would be a dream to aid in the cure for Cystic Fibrosis.

Together, let’s make dreams happen!
