I've set a goal to raise $5,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation before participating in this year's Great Strides Walk to End CF. As many of you know, I was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis when I was 4 years old. Growing up with CF was never easy, but I fought as hard as I could and refused to let it get the best of me. Thanks to research and medical advancements funded by generous donors, I am now healthier than I ever imagined I could be. I will be able to live a long, meaningful life and could not be more grateful. While progress has been made, we still lose many young lives to CF every year. I'm sick and tired of it. With our help and support, I'm confident that one day we will get to the point where all with CF can live the long life they deserve.
