Twelve years ago, our daughter Grace was born with cystic fibrosis. It’s hard to believe how much time has passed—and even harder to believe how far we’ve come.

Because of the incredible work and support of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF), almost miraculous progress has been made for families like ours.

This May 2026, Grace will celebrate an extraordinary milestone:
One full year of being pancreatic sufficient.

What does that mean?

It means Grace no longer needs to take enzymes with every single meal.
No more trips to the school nurse.
No more carrying pills wherever she goes.

We’ve eliminated 20+ pills every day and are now down to just 5.

That is life-changing.

This progress is possible because of Trikafta, a breakthrough drug developed as a direct result of CFF-funded research—research made possible by people like you.

For Grace, it means being closer to “normal” than she has ever been before.

But the fight isn’t over.

There is still no cure for cystic fibrosis, and too many people with CF continue to die far too young.

CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. It makes breathing difficult, weakens the body’s ability to fight infections, and often leads to severe lung damage and respiratory failure.
