As most people know, our sweet Henry has cystic fibrosis. CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure. 

Every person born with CF is on a unique journey, and experiences this difficult disease differently. Henry has remained very healthy, thanks to the research and advancements provided through the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. He takes life-saving medicine daily that will hopefully allow him to live a long and full life. But the medication is not a cure, and it’s not an option for everyone with CF. 

This year, for the first time ever, our family will be participating in the 2026 Great Strides walk in Miami. Great Strides is an annual 5k walk for cystic fibrosis. We are fundraising to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and their efforts to find a cure for everyone with CF. By participating, you have the power to change thousands of lives. While we’ve made significant progress, we still have a long way to go.
