Why We're Taking Great Strides for Sutton - and for Every Child Fighting Cystic Fibrosis

Hi friends and family,

Our daughter Sutton is the brightest light in our lives - a tiny bundle of pure joy with the biggest smiles, the sweetest giggles, and a fighting spirit that inspires everyone around her.

But her journey started with an incredibly tough beginning. In her first four months of life, Sutton spent three of them in the hospital. Days blurred into nights filled with breathing treatments, IVs, monitoring, and the constant fear that every parent of a child with cystic fibrosis knows too well. CF is a progressive genetic disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs, making even simple things like breathing and digesting food a daily battle. We watched our newborn fight harder than most adults ever have to, and it broke our hearts while filling us with awe at her strength.

Today, Sutton is doing so much better. She's growing, thriving, and bringing endless laughter and love into our home. She reminds us every single day why hope matters - why every small victory is worth celebrating. She is our absolute joy, and we are so grateful for the progress that's already been made thanks to research funded by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

That's exactly why we're walking in Great Strides this year.

We donate and we walk because we've seen firsthand how critical these funds are. Every dollar raised through Great Strides goes directly to life-changing research, new therapies, and better care for people with CF.
