My Great Strides Story

My son Miles has Cystic Fibrosis. Cystic Fibrosis is a progressive genetic disease that impacts the respiratory and digestive systems, and Miles was diagnosed with this when he was 6 days old.
Thanks to the efforts of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the prognosis for individuals with CF is drastically better in 2025 than it ever has been before. The medical advancements for treatment and medication over the last 10 years are significant, and Miles (and others like him) is in a much better position to live a longer, more wholesome life than ever before. Miles turned 3 years old in March and is doing great.
However, there is still work to do to find a cure. While progress has been made, a long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this terrible disease. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life. Given the impact on clinical research at a federal level, the work of private organizations like the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to help accelerate and continue the research is more important than ever. Money buys research, and research saves lives.
Will you help us end cystic fibrosis?
By donating to my fundraising goal, you have the power to advance the research and science needed to drive our shared dream forward – a cure for everyone with CF.
