Hello All!
It is Great Strides time again! To all the faithful supporters of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation over the years, I sincerely want to thank you for your contributions to an organization that has made a significant difference in my quality of life.
Things around the Fontenette household have been busy this year as we continue to navigate through life in the same way many of you do. It has been a somewhat eventful year and we are thankful for all the blessings we have experienced as the year progressed.
My medication has kept my health stable, and I am very grateful for that. I was able to transfer to a new medication last year, which has eliminated some of the brain fog, insomnia and anxiety while still maintaining my lung function. This is definitely a huge answer to prayer! Along with the daily household responsibilities I am in book clubs, workout, and currently am able to be the chauffeur for my daughter. Whenever needed, I also enjoy volunteering at her High School for different activities.
Troye works for American Public Life as a Chief Revenue Officer and enjoys his role very much. He is still an avid Rams fan and we all enjoy going to the games in the fall!
Kaydence is currently a freshman in high school and loves to spend time with friends when possible. She is a QB for her HS flag football team, and is on the honors hip hop dance team. She's a smart, busy girl, but still manages to get those trips to the beach in!
I look forward to communicating and sharing with each of you. For those of you who would like to donate to Great strides this year it is greatly appreciated.
Approximately 40,000 children and adults are living with CF in the United States and many more worldwide. In the US about 1,000 new cases are diagnosed each year. This foundation continues to help those affected with CF and research is ongoing to put an end to this life-threatening disease. Again, thank you for your support over these many years!
Love,
Becca
