Over 30 years ago, my aunt passed away from cystic fibrosis. At the time, the outlook for people with CF was much more limited. Last year, my friend Sarah’s daughter Winnie was born with CF. It was a reminder that this disease is still very much here, impacting families, and still without a cure.
