HELP TRANSFORM REMEMBRANCE INTO HOPE.
There is still no cure for cystic fibrosis - a life-shortening, genetic disease that damages the lungs and digestive system - and far too many lives are cut short...Davey's among them.
My son, Davey, lived with CF, but he never let it define him. He believed in embracing life - taking risks, stepping outside of his comfort zone, loving people openly, and finding happiness whenever possible. Even while managing daily breathing treatments, countless hospitalizations, a long list of medications, and ultimately a double lung transplant, Davey chose optimism, humor, and love. That was simply who he was. He lived fully, loved deeply, and left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.
Fifteen years after his passing, we continue to honor his life in a way that feels both meaningful and hopeful. On May 9, we will walk as “Team Davey” in the Great Strides Walk in Huntington Beach - just steps from the ocean he loved so much - carrying his spirit with us every step of the way.
Every dollar raised supports critical research, improved treatments, and the hope of a cure - so that children born with CF today can look forward to longer, healthier lives, and so that fewer families have to experience the heartbreak of losing someone far too soon.
If you’re able, we would be incredibly grateful for your support. Any amount makes a real difference.
Will you help us turn love into action - and help end cystic fibrosis?
