My Great Strides Story
Fundraising for Pawtucket Great Strides 2026
Amy and Greg Lupica
This year we are thrilled to celebrate 30 years!!! Will turned 30!!! What a milestone for us!!! When Will was first diagnosed, we didn’t know what this CF journey had in store for us. We have met amazing people along the way and are so incredibly grateful to you all for supporting us all these years!!! We also honor all those with CF that have come before Will, especially Greg’s cousin, Michelle Adey. We are SO grateful to the doctors, scientists, fundraisers and the CF Foundation for all they have done to bring us this far. There has been such incredible progress in these 30 years! But we are not done yet. Our hearts go out to the families that are still waiting for a therapy that will help their children like the new therapies have helped Will. We also know that these therapies aren’t a cure. We will keep fighting until that day comes!
Janie has always stood by her brother over these 30 years. She and her husband, James, are now raising another fighter, 18-month-old Cleo, who has already been to the Walk and is gearing up to (actually) walk again this year alongside Uncle Willy and Tita Roxy.
In honor of Will’s birthday, we would love your help in raising at least $30,000 to continue the incredible progress the CF Foundation has made. The foundation is laser focused on developing therapies for those who don’t have one and ultimately finding a cure for CF. We are so lucky that the CF Foundation has such a strong business model and uses every dollar raised so wisely.
If you can, please join us in supporting our CF walk, Saturday, May 9 at 11:00 at Slater Park in Pawtucket. To register, push the “Register” button above. If you would like to make a donation to the CF Foundation for our walk, push the “Donate” button above. Please email us with any questions.
We are indebted to all of you for your support these 30 years!!! And are so incredibly grateful for the continued support as we work toward our dream of a sure for CF!!! Just wait for that celebration!!!
With deep gratitude and love,
Amy and Greg
