This year's Great Strides Walk to End CF is Saturday, May 9 at 11:00 at Slater Park in Pawtucket -- will you join us, by walking or donating?
CF Foundation funding -- made possible by the years of generous gifts of people like you -- has led to incredible drug development that has made truly life-changing differences in the lives of people with CF, along with terrific programs and resources provided by CF Foundation staff. We are profoundly grateful that our Godson (who turned 30 this year!) has benefited from one of these drugs, Trikafta.
However, the current drug therapies don't work for everyone with CF and there is still no cure for CF. Cystic fibrosis is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
Will you help us continue what is truly life-saving research, drug development, and programs for people with CF?
