CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.

On February 28th 2003, my cousin, Sammy Irvine, passed away at the age of 27 from Cystic Fibrosis (CF). Just 20 days later, her brother, Stuart Culshaw, passed away aged just 22 from the same condition. My auntie, Jackie Culshaw, was also diagnosed with the condition and sadly passed away in 2007 after caring for Sammy and Stuart throughout their lives.

I will be running the Pittsburgh Marathon in memory of Sammie, Stuart, and Jackie. Any donation is greatly appreciated.

Will you help us end cystic fibrosis?

By donating to my fundraising goal, you have the power to advance the research and science needed to drive our shared dream forward – a cure for everyone with CF.
