Colby Wyatt
Hello,
I have dedicated my professional life to helping people with cystic fibrosis and working with the CF foundation towards a cure.
CF is a genetic disease that impacts every organ of the body leading to difficulties with breathing, eating, nutrition, and reproduction, and numerous other problems.
Children and adults with CF need to perform hours of therapy every day to maintain their respiratory and nutritional health.
Because of the work of the CF foundation we have seen amazing progress in treating CF and people with CF are now living healthier lives than ever before. The median life expectancy of people with CF has grown from 30 years old in the early 1990s to current estimates of 66 years of age. However, there is still work to do. There continues to be no cure for CF, and 5-10% of people living with CF do not qualify for the currently available highly effective medications. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.
Will you help us end cystic fibrosis?
This ride combines two of my life passions - treatment of children with cystic fibrosis and riding motorcycles. I get to shar this year's ride with my cousin Mike and friends.
By donating to the CF foundation through my page and team, you are directly contributing to advancing the research and science needed to drive our shared dream forward – a cure for everyone with CF.
Thank you, happy riding, and happy living.
