I am riding and fundraising for Cystic Fibrosis in memory of my brother and hero, Patrick Robinson.
 

Those who know me likely knew Patrick on a personal level as well. Patrick lived an incredibly active and fulfilling life while living each day with Cystic Fibrosis(CF). Patrick was an incredibly strong person, who did not let his CF diagnosis limit his ability to live.
 

Patrick was an outdoorsman and an athlete(as long as it didn't involve throwing a ball). Patrick was an Eagle scout, and hiked multiple New England 4,000 footers with his puppy companion, Copley and our father. He worked out every day, and would not use CF as an excuse to skip out on an exercise. He was determined to be the most active version of himself each day. That determination and strength is one of the many great qualities that he exemplified as an older brother, and I am so grateful to have him as an example of strength.
 

I promised Patrick that I would do this bike ride in memory of him. Last year in 2025, I was able to fulfill that promise and completed the 65 mile ride for the first time. It was an incredibly rewarding experience and it made me very grateful for my community that helped me raise over $2,250 for Cystic Fibrosis. It truly was one of the most gratifying experiences of my life and it is something I look forward to continuing every year until a cure for CF is found.
 

I am lucky enough to use Patrick's old road bike, which he used to complete the seacoast safari ride multiple times. While riding it acts as a reminder of the strength and determination he had to complete the same ride, while battling Cystic Fibrosis on top of it. I know I'm riding with him every time I step on the pedal.
 

Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for considering my cause. I am so grateful for you for reading my story. My goal this year is to set a new personal fundraising record and I have recruited multiple new riders to our Patrick's Peddler's team.
 

I look forward to completing this ride for the second time and pedaling to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.
