There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis and too many people with CF die young.

I’m climbing in the Seattle Stair Climb to help change that reality for my son, Gabriel, and everyone else fighting the disease.

He has been a brave, strong fighter for almost 11 years now and what I want most of all as his mom is for him not to have to think about CF anymore. I want it to be a thing of the past. I want him to not have to do his time-consuming treatments multiple times a day and have more time to play. I want him to not have to think about his medicines. I want him to get to live his best (lengthy) life.

CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure. In Gabriel's case, it also makes it difficult to absorb food nutrients and grow.

Will you help us end cystic fibrosis?

By donating to my fundraising goal, you have the power to advance the research and science needed to drive our shared dream forward – a cure for everyone with CF.
