Matilda is SO excited to be back for Great Strides this year with the amazing team of family and friends who make up her Fox Force!
She picked this name because she's obsessed with foxes and she wants to Outfox CF!
We know that Matilda is lucky to be as healthy as she is, but that doesn't mean that her disease doesn't have an impact on her, both physically and emotionally. In the past year Matilda has been on and off modulators that keep her healthier because of the side effects. We know that we won't stop and can't stop fighting until a cure is found and every single person with CF, including Matilda, can live a long and healthy life!
We invite you to take part in Great Strides by joining our team. We promise, you belong here! This event promises to be a fun-filled day where you can help advance the care and research needed to cure cystic fibrosis. By walking with us, you’ll enjoy not only the natural camaraderie (yes, lots of laughter!), but the important impact we are making together.
While the CF Foundation has made incredible progress, not everyone with CF can benefit from existing therapies and we still need a cure. This will require time, funding, and persistence – but with you on our team – we are ready to go the distance.
