THERE IS NO CURE FOR CYSTIC FIBROSIS!
Those of you who know me know that I will do anything for my friends! This yearly fundraiser has made such an impact on my friend's 2 son's lives! They are thriving young men that as babies did not have great odds of doing so. But events like this have helped raised funds for research and meds and that have allowed them to live with CF well beyond their expected years. There is no cure (yet) but the research continues with your support!
CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
