Hunter was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at age 4, a genetic condition that primarily affects her lungs. For the past five years, we have been fighting this disease alongside her, facing the daily challenges that come with living with CF.

Every day, Hunter requires breathing treatments to help clear mucus and keep her airways open. These treatments are essential and help her stay as healthy as possible, but they also take a toll. Living with CF means that even when someone looks healthy on the outside, their body is fighting a battle that isn’t always visible.

This year, Hunter experienced her first 12-day hospital stay. It was a difficult reminder of just how fragile the health of someone with CF can be. It also reminded us that CF doesn’t always show on the outside. Hunter can look like a healthy, happy child, while inside, her lungs and body are facing challenges most people will never see.

Despite the daily treatments, hospital stays, and uncertainty, Hunter continues to stay strong and hopeful. Our team, Hunter’s Hope, is walking alongside her with the same hope we have carried throughout these past five years: hope for better treatments, hope for a cure, and hope for a long, healthy, and happy future for Hunter and everyone living with Cystic Fibrosis.

Every step we take is filled with determination and optimism for what’s ahead. We are committed to supporting Hunter through every challenge and to helping find treatments that will allow her—and others like her—to live long, healthy lives.

Thank you for walking with us, supporting Hunter, and helping us keep hope alive.
