Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and those who have it fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
Skyley was extremely fortunate to have been given the opportunity to enroll in a clinical trial at the age of three. Participation in this trial enabled her to begin a medication designed to help slow the progression of the disease. The development of this medication would not have been possible without the generous support of donors.
