Here’s a heartfelt and inspiring "About Me" section you can use for your cystic fibrosis walk:
---
Hello! My name is Trisha, and I’m excited to share my journey with you as I participate in this year’s cystic fibrosis walk. Living with cystic fibrosis (CF) has shaped my life in countless ways, and I am proud to say that I am now seven years post double lung transplant!
CF has always been a significant part of my life, presenting challenges that I’ve faced with determination and resilience. Thanks to my transplant, I’m now able to walk again and participate in events like this, something I once thought was out of reach. It's incredible to be active and engage with a community that shares a common goal of raising awareness and funds for CF research and support.
I’m walking not only to celebrate my journey but also to honor the many others who are affected by this disease. Every step we take together brings us closer to finding a cure and improving the lives of those living with CF.
If you feel inspired to support this cause, I would greatly appreciate any donations to my team. Your contributions will help fund crucial research and resources for those battling cystic fibrosis. You can also join my team and walk alongside me—together, we can make a difference!
Thank you for your support!

CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
Every person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently. While progress has been made, a long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this terrible disease. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.
Will you help us end cystic fibrosis?
By donating to my fundraising goal, you have the power to advance the research and science needed to drive our shared dream forward – a cure for everyone with CF.
