In May of 2020, we welcomed our daughter Violet to the world. Roughly one week later, we received the devastating news that Violet would unfortunately have to live a life full of challenges that no child or adult should have to face. Violet was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis, a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.

Fortunately, Violet has recently benefited from a groundbreaking drug called Trikafta that has eased the burdens she once had. Still, she faces extensive daily treatments and is at high risk for small viruses and bacteria becoming life-threatening emergencies.

Further, not everyone with CF benefits from Trikafta and it is for this reason that we continue to walk and fight for Violet and every family affected by this disease. We hope you will continue walking with us until we change the meaning of CF from Cystic Fibrosis to Cure Found.

By donating to my fundraising goal, you have the power to advance the research and science needed to drive our shared dream forward – a cure for everyone with CF.

Thank you so very much!

-Jason
