For eighteen years, you all have fought with me, walked with me, and supported me. Many of you have visited me in the hospital or have been supportive at a CF fundraiser! We are gearing up for CFF’s Great Strides 5k Walk for 2026.
When you are on swim team you don’t stop swimming once you’re halfway there… you finish your laps with drive and with faith! That is my vision for these events! We have seen so much progress because of the work we do, the science from what God has enabled, and I don’t wish to give up until we literally have a cure for Cystic Fibrosis! It can be a devastating disease for many but we are in an era of seeing real life changing results happen from the effort we’re putting in. However, we’re not there yet. Let’s not stop until it’s done! Let’s gooo! Hope to see you on May 16th at Tanglewood!

CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
Every person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently. While progress has been made, a long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this terrible disease. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.
