Our Story:

In 2011, our hearts were broken when our precious Jolene lost her battle with CF at the age of 10. Despite her incredible strength and courage, CF ultimately took her from us too soon. Jolene’s fight continues to inspire us every day, and we carry her memory with us as we push forward in the mission to raise awareness and funding for CF research.

Today, our 13-year-old daughter, Ceci, thrives thanks to groundbreaking advancements in CF treatments like Trikafta. This life-saving drug has made a world of difference in her health and well-being, helping her live a vibrant, healthy life. Trikafta is possible because of the incredible generosity of people like you—those who walk, donate, and support CF-related events.

Why We Walk:

The fight is not over. While we celebrate the progress made, we also recognize how much more there is to be done. Every dollar we raise brings us one step closer to finding a cure. Team Nichols is made up of not just Anna and I, but also Ceci’s devoted grandparents, Ross and Patty, and David and Cheryl. They have been by our side through every step of this journey—helping to raise awareness, funds, and offering unwavering support to both Ceci and our family. They are an essential part of our team, and their love and dedication to finding a cure are boundless.
