Our family fundraises for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation through Great Strides in honor of my granddaughter Madison, who lives with cystic fibrosis (CF). The CF Foundation is the world's leader in the search for a cure for CF. Cystic fibrosis a rare, genetic life-shortening disease that affects every organ in the body and makes breathing difficult. Since Madison was born, we have seen incredible progress in medicine and research thanks to the work of the CF Foundation.

Madison is a passionate and determined 15-year-old living with cystic fibrosis. Despite the challenges that come with CF, Maddie refuses to let it define her. An honors student, she excels academically while balancing a love for the arts and athletics. Whether on the soccer field, painting a new masterpiece, or performing on stage in theater productions, Maddie embraces every opportunity to pursue her dreams. Her resilience and positivity inspire those around them, proving that CF is just one part of their story-not the whole narrative.
