I am riding in the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Cycle for Life event again this year. I do this to support my family and to raise funds for research to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis (CF), a genetic disease that impacts lung function and digestion.
I first became involved with CFF after my nephew, Paul, and his younger sister, my niece Olivia, were diagnosed with CF. This diagnosis changed our lives, as we learned about the daily challenges they face, including frequent hospital visits and rigorous treatment regimens.  
I ride to honor the remarkable strength and resilience displayed by Paul and Olivia, who confront the disease everyday with courage.  Their bravery motivates me to do everything I can to support them and all those affected by CF.
I invite you to ride with me or donate to my ride.  Funds raised will be directed towards funding research projects aimed at finding a cure for CF, supporting patients with medical expenses, and raising awareness about this devastating disease.
