My husband Drew is one of 40,000 people in the US with cystic fibrosis, a genetic disease that affects the lungs, stomach, liver and other organs.

That sounds scary, but because of the tireless fundraising of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, it's way less scary than it used to be.

They have been able to fund research and treatments since 1955, and have helped raise the median age of survival by 60+ years - that is incredible progress in a short time.

Drew's health and prognosis have been greatly improved by the amazing medications developed by scientists in the last 10 years, treating the underlying cause of CF. There are now more adults living with CF than children - another amazing stat!

One of my goals in 2025 is to get more involved with the CF Foundation and to raise as much as I can. I am connected to the Arizona chapter directors and have met so many local volunteers with CF stories about their kids, grandkids, spouses and friends. There is amazing research happening all the time, including gene therapy and treatments for 10% of the CF population with no treatments today.

If you know me and you know Drew, then you see firsthand how these funds help people you love. Drew plays tennis, goes SCUBA diving, and owns his own business; and we dedicate a lot of our time and passion to adopting senior dogs.

Please help us continue the CF Foundation's amazing progress and donate any amount -- we have a long list of travel plans and many dogs to adopt! :)
Thank you!! xoxo
