In 2022, our son Bennett was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis shortly after he was born. It’s something no parent is ever prepared to hear—and from that moment on, our lives were forever changed.

Cystic fibrosis is a genetic, life-shortening disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. It makes it harder to breathe, harder to fight infections, and often leads to serious complications over time. There is still no cure—and too many people with CF are taken far too soon.

But Bennett is more than his diagnosis. He’s strong, resilient, and full of life—and he inspires us every single day to keep pushing forward.

That’s why we’re walking—to fight for him, and for every family facing CF. While incredible progress has been made, there is still a long road ahead. We dream of a future where Bennett can live a long, healthy life without the limits of this disease.
