Cystic Fibrosis has been a constant in my life for as long as I can remember. My mother and my uncle both have CF. Throughout my life, my mother would have to go to the hospital for whenever she got sick. My uncle did a similar journey to that as well. Both of their lives have been intertwined by this disease along with both of their families.
Since we have received the miracle of Trikafta my mother and uncle have seen huge results and have had very few CF symptoms.
My mother has not been to the hospital relating to CF since 2018 because of Trikafta. My uncle’s children have never had to see him hooked up to multiple IVs because of Trikafta. My hope and wish is that all families with CF can have these same blessings that have come from the research that has happened from fundraisers and awareness. Through donating and doing these walks we can further make these miracles happen and one day cure this disease that has affected thousands of people and their families. Thank you!
