Support Team Kiran!
Erica And Michael Signorelli
Fundraising for Xtreme Hike Massachusetts
Erica and Michael Signorelli
This June, I'll be participating in the XTreme Hike with Team Kiran where we'll be hiking 26+ miles of trails in the Berkshire Mountains in Massachusetts in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation,
Our connection to the CFF is a personal one. Our dearest friend Carolyn's son, Kiran, was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis in 2016. Cystic Fibrosis is a rare, life-shortening genetic disease that affects approximately 40,000 Americans and just 100,000 people worldwide. Since then, the CFF has fueled dramatic improvements in cystic fibrosis research and care. Many people with CF are now living into their forties and beyond, proving the impossible - able to graduate high school, attend college, pursue careers, and having families of their own.
While there has been significant progress in treating this disease, there is still no cure and too many lives are cut far too short. Kiran, now in 4th grade, is thriving and enjoying what he loves - lacrosse, soccer, surfing, and being an active and happy kid with his twin brother, Raj, and his friends and family. With your support, our fundraising will directly support the CFF's mission to one day find a cure so that Kiran and people with CF can continue to living longer and healthier lives and achieving those life milestones.
Thank you in advance for your support and participation to this event. A donation of any amount is truly meaningful and significant to the CFF's efforts.
With gratitude,
Erica
