I’m back for my 2nd year of participating in the Xtreme Hike! Last year’s event was a great success, and I’m returning because the fight for a cure for cystic fibrosis is still ongoing.

I’ve been friends with the Shwankes for 25 years, and in that time, I’ve seen Leah face her battle with CF with incredible strength and courage. Cystic fibrosis continues to be a part of Leah’s life, as well as the lives of so many others. Thanks to ongoing fundraising efforts, there’s been steady progress in research and treatment. While there’s still no cure, the advancements made throughout Leah’s life have been nothing short of remarkable.

I’m hiking for Leah and for everyone impacted by CF. Thank you for your support—you’re helping make a real difference!
